The Pamplin School of Business offers a Post-baccalaureate Business Certificate program for students who would like to utilize an interesting variety of courses in many specialized areas. Our faculty created a curriculum that provides a unique opportunity for post-baccalaureate students to choose a concentration, gain additional training, and develop new competencies by completing the post-baccalaureate business certificate program.
Students complete a twelve-credit hour program in one of the following areas: entrepreneurship, finance, strategy, marketing, sustainability, or business analytics, and then receive a post-baccalaureate certificate in that area. Students may also create a general program where they survey courses from different business disciplines. The course options in each area are listed below.
To be admitted to this program, students must hold a bachelor's degree from an AACSB-accredited institution, and submit the following application components:

To receive a certificate, students complete a 12 credit-hour program in one of the following areas:
Experience a wide range of courses from the analysis of negotiation strategies to innovation in technology.
Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management Concentration requires four 3-credit courses.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of financial markets & institutions, analysis & risk management.
Finance Concentration requires four 3-credit courses.
Study the importance of personal selling as well as negotiation & persuasion in a variable environment.
Marketing Concentration requires four 3-credit courses.
Prepare for strategic challenges with coursework on supply chain & inventory management.
Operations and Technology Management Concentration requires four 3-credit courses.
Develop & execute strategies that build resilience & long term competitive advantage.
Strategy Concentration requires four 3-credit courses.
Learn frameworks to improve the economic, environmental & social performance of organizations.
Sustainability Concentration requires four 3-credit courses.
