Veterans Corner

At the University of Portland School of Business, we are honored to support veterans as they transition from military service to meaningful careers in business and leadership.
If you are eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill®, your graduate education may be fully covered. We are also proud participants in the Yellow Ribbon Program, which helps bridge any remaining tuition costs for qualified students. Your experience brings valuable perspective to our learning community—and we are here to help you turn your service into lasting impact.
WHY EVERY VETERAN SHOULD APPLY FOR VA BENEFITS
No matter how long you have served or what happened during your time in the military, you may qualify for significant healthcare access, prescription support, mental health care, vocational services, and other programs. Many of these benefits can grow over time, especially as new medical issues arise or laws change. Too many veterans miss out simply because they assume they’re not eligible.
For detailed information regarding the Yellow Ribbon Program, please contact our campus veterans certifying official. You can also email the veterans office at veterans@up.edu, or call them at 503.943.7311.
