Pamplin School of Business: Pamplin Professional Preparation Program
The Pamplin Professional Preparation Program (P4) sets our students apart.
P4 provides students with the tools they need, early in their academic careers, to discover what they want to explore now and into the future. The program guides each student toward that career through job shadows and internships. Students are engaged as soon as they arrive on campus, beginning with analyzing their strengths and interests so they can identify and pursue a career they will truly enjoy and continuing their professional growth through speed networking and mock interviews. Annual P4 service projects throughout the Portland community reinforce the understanding of being part of the bigger world and are an essential component to this holistic professional development program. The Wall Street Journal recently found that a shocking 71% of recent four-year college graduates would have done something differently to prepare for the job market. We are proud that the P4 will provide you with the opportunities and experiences you need to avoid the most common regrets and succeed in today’s competitive world.Read more.
